What were you thinking!?
Find out what anime girl you are.
You are very busy and stressed, yet somehow through it all you retain your cute girlish charm. I bet you want a "sweet sweet home" with a cute pet!

It's the official Girls' Day with my family and friends. This morning, Mom and I talked about different hair styles for me (she thinks my layers-all-over-the-place hairdo was getting old) and went through my old magazines looking for something a little more simple and conservative. She wanted me to chop my hair off again, but we finally agreed on trimming two inches and putting in more solid layers. So we went to SuperCuts (I'm cheap) and it turned out pretty cool.
Now, I'm waiting for Yvette and Rei to come over for the sleepover. It's going to be fun! Hopefully, we can head down to Wally World to get that board game we've all had eyes on. I don't know what it's called, but it's like a mystery date/truth game. It's going to be a blast, staying up all night eating junk food and being our normal weird and crazy selves. The last time I had a sleepover, I ended up putting one of my friends on timeout because she was licking other people's pillows (long story).
Just two more hours...

Nothing exciting happened today. I spent a good portion of my day reading and later in the evening, went shopping with Yvette for gifts for the entire family. It was fun. Got mom and Calvin baby Care Bears and dad a CD.
Umm...that's it.

Carry This Picture by D.C.
Dashboard Confessional
Title: Carry This Picture
Album: A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar
I'll carry this picture for luck.
Kept in your locket, tucked in your collar, close to your chest.
Make it a secret shown to the closet friends.
Meet me at quarter to 7.
The sun will still shine then at this time of year.
Well head to the inlet and we'll share a bottle there
And color the coast with your smile.
Its the most genuine thing I've ever seen.
I was so lost and now I believe.
And follow me south of the big docks with the big boats,
And teather the boats with rich men revere are so important.
They hire our fathers to stear.
And down to the edge of the water, We'll spill our guts and we'll leave our fears.
I'll give you this picture and keep it and dont be scared,
And color the coast with your smile.
Its the most genuine thing I've ever seen.
I was so lost and now I believe.
I believe in the coast.
Your smile its the most genuine thing I've ever seen.
I was so lost and now I believe
Now I believe

Nothing new happened today. Yesterday, I went to Yvette's house and met up with Cody and her cousin, Courtney. We spent the better part of the afternoon playing Disney Charades. Shortly after I came home, Chelsea invited me to her house and we got Subway and watched X-Men 2. It was a pretty cool movie. Beforehand, we played the Care Bear board game, which was pretty fun acting half our age. Our fun was interrupted when Hannah, the family dog, ran to the door and started the famous Hannah bark alarm. When I turned around, there was one major hotness (lame term for a guy, I know) standing at the threshold. Chelsea greeted him, while I sat dumbfounded by what I saw. After Chelsea and I finished our sandwiches and board game, we went to the familyroom and watched the movie. While I was watching the movie and playing with the animals, I couldn't help but look back. After the movie ended and I was covered in cat hair, Chelsea told me that the guy was 22. *cries* Oh well. He's still hot! lol.
Ever since my dad's little directness yesterday, my mind has been wandering on guys and I miss a lot of my guyfriends, especially John from work and Sean. I haven't talked to Sean for a few weeks and haven't seen him for almost 3 years. On the other hand, I haven't talked to John since Finals Week. *sighs* Mom says that I need to pick a guyfriend and make a move to get closer, but I'm refusing. I'm 17 and she's already asking me about marriage! Not going to happen anytime soon. *rolls eyes* Anywho, as for the whole Ryan dilly, I'm really hoping that the thing blows over because it's on my last nerve with all the confusion. Just keeping my fingers crossed that it happens sometime soon. I haven't heard from Julian in a while, too. I left a messege on his answering machine after the earthquake, but he hasn't replied. Starting to worry here.
I still haven't forgiven my dad for what he said to me yesterday, even though I probably should. Nah... I'll let him dangle for a while on his little guilt trip.
That's all folks!

I talked to Ryan last night for, like 30 seconds and for some odd and unknown reason, he was in my dream last night. It goes like this...
It was my senior year at PRHS and the first day of school. When I glanced down at my class schedule to see where I went next, it said I had P.E. in the gym. I had already met my P.E. requirement, but decided to go anyway and deal with the class change at lunch. I told the intructor that I didn't have my gym clothes and explained my situation. She said that she knows and got a notification from the office earlier. I stayed for the period and talked to Katie, who was on the track team. We sat on the bleachers and talked high school peeves, when I saw Ryan comming from behind the Ag building. He was a lot taller (he is already and I feel like a midget) and his voice sounded...well...different, like the stern and powerful voice of an highly experienced lawyer. When I saw him, I was overwhelmed with a sudden shyness and made a dash for the girl's locker room. Katie caught up to me asked what was going on and I pointed in Ryan's direction. "Oooooh. It's him! Ryan!" she practically screamed. He heard his name and turned around, seeing my cherry-red face. He laughed and headed my direction while Katie said, "He's comming this way. Why don't you end this whole crush ordeal now?" "It's not a crush!" I replied. "Get over it," she exclaimed. "You have a crush on him and here's your chance to confess it." Before I knew it, he was standing right in front of me and he greeted me with, "Hey!" After a while, I managed to stammer out a lame, "hello." Judging by the look on his face, he had overheard the conversation between Katie and I and was waiting for the confession. Both he and Katie stood there waiting for me to say something, but I when I managed to say, "Umm...I-I...," I woke up.
Hmm...now this dream has me thinking: Is all this nonsense with him a crush, another infatuation, or something else that I have the slightest clue of what it could possibly be?

Crimeny. The last thing I needed happened this morning.
Dad: You need to work on your looks.
Me: Why?
Dad: You need to go on a date.
Me: Do I look like I want to go on a date?
Dad: Yeah, but your looks are driving guys away.
Me: ....
Dad: You need to work on your face.
Me: ........
Dad: And you REALLY need to lose weight.
Me: Gee...thanks. That was brutal....
For one thing, I've trimmed down A LOT since junior high. I used to be a size 17 waistline and now I'm a size 9 and slowly working down to a 7. Chill out, dude. And another thing: I CAN'T HELP IT IF I HAVE ACNE (pardon the language) CRACKASS! IT'S HEREDITARY AND A PART OF TEENAGE LIFE!
Sometimes, I wish he wasn't so judgemental of me, but hey, what can I do?! Afterall, he's the "man" of the house and we ALL have to live by HIS standards, even if it comes down to physical appearance. Besides, his ego and pride in himself aren't helping me, so he should learn when to give some good advice instead of direct orders.
